Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have faced increased strikes in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Several individuals were wounded while local people in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to water systems, according to local authorities.

At the same time, a minor was killed in a separate aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by local officials.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and more than 30 missiles attacked energy facilities, characterizing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Russia was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were working to restore power.

A wave of strikes hit energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in the capital.

Several of the people hurt in the assaults on the city have been hospitalized, according to city authorities.

He said energy workers and officials were preparing for further attacks.
